Grammy Winners 2024: Taylor Swift emerged as the big winner at the Grammy Awards 2024, securing the coveted album of the year accolade for her masterpiece “Midnights.” This victory marked her fourth win in this prestigious category, solidifying her position as the artist with the most wins in this field. In addition to this remarkable achievement, Swift also triumphed in the best pop vocal album category, showcasing her versatility and talent.
During her acceptance speech, Swift pleasantly surprised the audience by revealing her plans to release her next album, titled “The Tortured Poets Department,” on April 19. This unexpected announcement generated immense excitement among her fans and the music industry as a whole.
Meanwhile, SZA garnered the highest number of nominations this year, with an impressive total of nine. Her nominations included album of the year, record of the year, and song of the year. Despite already boasting 15 Grammy nominations prior to this year’s event, SZA had only secured one win in the past, specifically for best pop duo/group performance in 2022 with “Kiss Me More.” However, her fortunes changed this year as she added more accolades to her name, including a well-deserved win for best R&B song early in the program.
The Grammy Awards once again took place at the renowned Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, serving as a grand celebration of musical excellence. The ceremony was broadcasted live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+. Returning for his fourth consecutive year as the host, the talented comedian and former “The Daily Show” presenter, Trevor Noah, brought his unique charm and wit to the stage, ensuring an entertaining and memorable evening for all.
