Trump 2024- VANDALIA, Ohio- Former President Donald Trump issued a stern warning on Saturday, emphasizing the potential consequences if he is not reelected in November.
During a rally in Vandalia, Trump addressed the looming trade war with China in relation to auto manufacturing. The purpose of the rally was to rally support for Republican Senate candidate Bernie Moreno, who received Trump’s endorsement in December, ahead of Ohio’s primary on Tuesday.
Trump directed his message to President Xi of China, highlighting their supposed friendship while asserting his firm approach to dealing with trade matters. He specifically mentioned the car manufacturing plants being constructed in Mexico, expressing his intention to impose a 100% tariff on every car imported into the United States. Trump emphasized that if he were to be reelected, these cars would not be sold in the country.
However, Trump’s tone took a darker turn when he contemplated the potential outcome if he were not to win the election. He warned of a “bloodbath” for the entire nation, suggesting that the consequences would extend far beyond the automotive industry. Trump even went as far as to cast doubt on the future of elections in the United States if he were not to emerge victorious.
In response to these remarks, Trump’s campaign spokeswoman, Karoline Leavitt, conveyed a contrasting viewpoint. She argued that President Biden’s policies would have a detrimental impact on the auto industry and its workers, creating an economic “bloodbath.”
It is evident that Trump’s statements at the rally have sparked intense reactions and debates regarding the potential outcomes of the upcoming election and its implications for various sectors of the economy.
James Singer, the spokesperson for President Joe Biden’s campaign, released a statement in response to Trump’s comments. Singer emphasized that former Vice President Mike Pence has made it clear that he will not endorse Trump’s bid for reelection. Singer described Trump as a “loser” who lost by over 7 million votes and instead of appealing to a broader audience, he continues to make threats of political violence. Singer expressed confidence that the American people will reject Trump’s extremism, his affinity for violence, and his desire for revenge, leading to another electoral defeat for him in November.
Before Trump began his speech, he stood and saluted next to the lectern while the “J6 choir” of inmates awaiting trial for their involvement in the insurrection played “Justice for All” on the loudspeakers. Trump referred to the individuals imprisoned for their roles in the January 6 attack as “hostages,” claiming they have been treated unfairly. He vowed to address their situation and save the country once he takes office, referring to them as “unbelievable patriots.”
During the event, Trump made controversial remarks about undocumented immigrants, stating that some of them were “not people.” However, he acknowledged that he was not allowed to say such things due to criticism from the radical left. Additionally, Trump urged Catholics not to vote for Biden, claiming that they were being persecuted. It is worth noting that Biden is only the second Roman Catholic to be elected president.
