Sydney Sweeney Fiance: Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell Address Affair Rumors with Cheating Sketch on ‘Saturday Night Live’ – Watch Now!

Sydney Sweeney Fiance- Sydney Sweeney made her debut as a host on Saturday Night Live, where she took the opportunity to address a particularly wild rumor circulating about her online. The Euphoria actress charmed the audience with a humorous monologue that showcased her ability to laugh at herself and her work. She joked about her past roles in Anyone But You and Euphoria, while playfully denying any involvement in Madame Web.

Sweeney expressed her excitement to reveal her true self beyond the characters she portrays on screen, emphasizing that she is more than just a girl who screams, cries, and engages in intimate scenes. In addition to sharing her humorous “five-point plan to break into acting” from her youth, she also humorously mentioned her backup plan of “showing boobs.” The actress used her time on stage to address and debunk some of the random speculations that have been circulating about her online.

During the filming of Anyone But You, there was a wild rumor circulating that I was having an affair with my co-star, Glen Powell,” Sweeney revealed, referring to the high-profile gossip that emerged at the time.

“It’s completely false,” Sweeney emphasized. “My fiancé, Jonathan Davino, and I actually produced the movie together, and he was present throughout the entire filming process.”

“I just want to clarify that he is the love of my life, and we are still going strong. In fact, he’s here tonight to show his support. Can we get a shot of him?” Sweeney requested, as the cameras panned to Powell in the audience, who smiled awkwardly.

“That’s not my fiancé!” Sweeney exclaimed with a laugh. “He’s in my dressing room! But we have an amazing show lined up for you tonight!”

Nevertheless, Powell’s presence was not limited to that single instance in the episode.

During the concluding sketch of the evening, Sweeney portrays a woman enjoying a dinner date with her boyfriend (portrayed by Andrew Dismukes) at a bustling restaurant. Unexpectedly, towards the conclusion of the sketch, her boyfriend casually inquires about her day, prompting Sweeney to reveal a shocking revelation.

She casually utters, “By the way, I had an affair with my boss, and I believe it’s best if we end our relationship,” while Powell approaches for his short appearance.

With a charming grin, he invites, “Hey there, sweetheart, care to escape from here?” as she rises and departs alongside the attractive celebrity.

The unexpected revelation of infidelity has left many fans perplexed, leading them to question whether this twist was hastily incorporated to capitalize on Powell’s presence, presenting a golden chance to humorously address the ongoing rumors of cheating one final time.

During the filming of their romantic comedy project across Australia last year, speculations arose regarding a possible romance between the co-stars. The rumors gained momentum when Powell’s girlfriend, Gigi Paris, ended their three-year relationship amidst Powell and Sweeney’s promotional tour for the movie in mid-2023.

Both Powell and Sweeney have individually addressed the rumors in recent interviews. Sweeney expressed to Variety that she felt overwhelmed by the rumors, especially since she couldn’t defend herself. Similarly, Powell shared with Men’s Health that he found the rumors to be disorienting and unjust.
